Why I’m Here

Back in 2021, I came across a job advert that immediately caught and held my attention. It was quirky, to the point and frankly, seemed like a fantastic opportunity for me to enhance my skills in areas of Software Development that I really enjoy - bespoke solutions. Over many years, I had gained a lot of experience in all areas of Software Development, but had recently found that I was spending the majority of my time using off the shelf solutions and customising them to fit the client rather than building a fully bespoke piece of software that fit a specific set of requirements given by a client.

What I’ve Done

I’ve worked in Software Development since the start of my career 23 years ago, having undertaken Computer Studies at University. I was however interested in coding long before that, it was always my ambition to turn it from a hobby into a career and I am pleased to have turned that ambition into a reality. I am now able to focus on the aspects I’m most passionate about - Mobile App Development, Web API’s, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, and all things C#.

My biggest achievement to date would be creating a mobile app for Bupa that is still in use today.

Happy Clients - there is nothing more rewarding than seeing how my work has positively transformed the way a company operates.

It’s so important for me to really take the time to understand what outcomes my clients want, people rarely come to me understanding what sort of technology they want to use - they come to me with an idea of what benefits they’d like to see and I make it happen.

Outside Of Work

I am a football fanatic - Nottingham Forest for the win! When I’m not attending or watching the match, I can be found walking Wesley around the local woods, playing golf or simply enjoying family time.
